Council seeks care workers to provide support for people with dementia
Monmouthshire County Council is seeking two care and support workers to help people with dementia enjoy safe and fulfilled lives. Successful applicants would work in the Monmouth, Raglan and Usk areas of the county.
Duties include providing care that focuses on the person - and what matters to them - as well as helping them regain skills they may have lost. These jobs also involve giving appropriate support to people with all aspects of daily life and promoting social and emotional well-being.
A full training package will support successful applicants to carry out their work effectively. Also offered is job satisfaction, an attractive pay package, pension entitlement and contracts of up to 35 hours per week.
